Kor Tiau Kia / Kway Chap @ Taman Tasek Johor Bahru




everytime i go back to jb, first stop before anything will be this stall. this pig mixture noodles got me hooked for many years. sometimes when i am in kl, i will ter'smell' the bau but actually just my imagination ler.

you will have a choice of complete set of pig internals (offal) starting from tongue, ears, lungs, liver, kidney, skin, small intestines, big intestines, intestines head, intestines end, taiwanese sausage, 3 layer meat, stomach, taufu, hard boiled eggs all cooked using the same gravy. the gravy is macam bakuteh but not as strong. the noodle is the hor-fun type with generous amount of yin-sai/coriander which many people i know hate.

the cili sauce is one of the main feature too because they prepare it themselves without using any preservatives. often when i go back to kl, i will tapau rm5 worth of this cili sauce.

on the table, normally they will put those eating utensils like chopstick, spoon etc.... pls use the wooden chopstick... really got different feel than the plastic chopstic.

rm20 for 3 pax and really damn full. i minimum 2 bowls of noodles.... i can smell it again....

where to find this place, go use gps find taman tasek jb then when u see a maybank, this place is diagonally behind maybank, if cannot find just ask those ppl there, cannot run one ler.
