Great Thai Food in One Location @ The Little Kitchen, Bangkok

Greetings from Bangkok! This joint is usually our first stop when we are in Bangkok, not only because it is close to where we stay but it also does serve good authentic Thai dishes.

The Little Kitchen in Central Chidlom: Most of the time we will say, hey its in a shopping mall, locals don't dine there... but this place I can say patronized by mostly locals. That is a testament to its authenticity and it being in a shopping mall says quality and convenience.

The variety of dishes are pretty wide, from salads to noodles, rice meals to individual dishes and many kinds of Thai desserts.

My favourite is definitely the Boat Noodle. With generous amount of tender beef in a well seasoned beef stock soup with kuey teow its a must try. Together with the condiments that comes along with the noodle dish, its heaven in a bowl.

Another dish that I like is the spicy fried rice. Super fragrant rice fried with chilly paste and a little shrimp paste with sides of crispy minced fish, stewed pork, local greens, salted egg and fried egg plant. So Thai... so good.

Wash these all down with their local iced red tea or orange juice or rather tangerine juice. Just perfect to wet the appetite to the next Thai makan.

We had 2 drinks, one fried spring roll, one rice and one noodle dish and the bill set us back about THB 660. Yes its abit pricy but at least you know you wont have to bond with the porcelain Gods.
